Youth and Family Ministry

Red Hill's Youth and Family Ministry (YFM) Team is committed to supporting the entire family through every stage of life. We take a personalized approach to ministry that covers all ages and stages of family life. In each area of ministry, our dedicated staff, trained small group leaders, and caring parents work together to build strong relationships that help nurture deep faith in our children from birth through adulthood.

We aim to support families in raising wonderful kids through weekly programs, social events, and specialized classes on the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion, as well as Confirmation. Our goal is for families to grow closer to the Lord, experience His love, and join us in our mission to know Christ and make Him known!

Family Advent Resources

Advent marks the beginning of a new church year. This year, Advent begins on Sunday, December 1st, and ends on Christmas Eve. During the next four weeks while the world around us swirls with chaotic hustle and bustle, we invite you to join us in creating a space of worship as we wait and prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus, our Messiah and Redeemer! In an effort to support you, Red Hill’s Youth and Family Ministry (YFM) Team has produced some intentional, age-specific resources that we pray will help you to observe and celebrate the Season of Advent individually or as a family.

"Promises Made, Promises Kept" Advent Resource for Families

Our Youth and Family Ministry (YFM) Team is offering a special Family Devotional for our families this Advent Season. “Promises Made, Promises Kept,” written by Marty Machowski, shows families how the birth and life of Jesus fulfilled God’s Old Testament promises of a Savior.

Start a new family tradition this Christmas season by reading this “upside-down” book (as a family) that includes 14 Bible stories. Begin the week before Christmas with the first side, “Promises Made,” which has seven stories that explore the Old Testament prophecies of the coming Messiah. On Christmas Day, flip the book over and continue by reading “Promises Kept” with seven more stories that vividly illustrate how Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and the beginning of the church fulfill God’s promises. Then take it a step further and use the questions at the end of each story to have a family discussion on what you just read.

Family Resource Library

It is a joy and honor to support and equip entire families throughout all stages of life. To assist with that endeavor, we have a Family Resource Library with books for children of all ages, from newborns to college students, including developmental milestones at each age, as well as a wide range of other subjects. These resources are available throughout the week. For more information or to borrow a resource, contact Beth Stoffregen at beths@redhillchurch.org.
