Welcome to Red Hill Lutheran Church. As servants of the Father, our Vision is to be a community of faith where people can come as they are and grow in Christ.

Our Mission is to be a church that enables people to:

Come to Christ and His Community

Continually grow in faith and maturity

Creatively share ministry through fellowship in the church

Consistently serve and witness in the world, so that

Christ is glorified

Guided by our Five Core Values, the culture we seek to create can be described as:

Biblically Faithful

We are a Biblically based, confessional church, centered in Jesus Christ. The Bible is God's inspired Word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. We are committed to equipping Christians, through the preaching and teaching of God's Word, to follow Christ daily. (Romans 12:7, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, James 1:23-25, Eph. 4:25-26,32, Heb. 12:1, Phil 1:6)

Seeker Sensitive

We believe that lost people matter to God. Because of that they matter to us. Our desire is to create an environment where they are free to explore the Christian faith, come to Christ, and become part of His community in our church. (Luke 19:10, Luke 5:30-32, Mt. 18:14)

Relationally Centered

Being a part of our Christian community means connecting with people in deep ways. We emphasize small groups as a primary means for Christians to care for each other, develop friendships, and share their lives. (Acts 2:44-46, 2 Tim 1:5, Luke 6:12-13, Acts 2:44-47)

People Developing

We believe that each person is unique with skills, gifts, and abilities given to them by God. Our goal is to enable and free people to use these gifts in the church and in the world. The primary responsibility of the pastors is to "…prepare God's people for works of service" (Ephesians 4:12) so that the ministry of the laity is supported and encouraged. (1 Cor. 12 and 14, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, Psalm 133:1)

Grace Orientated

We emphasize God's unconditional acceptance and full forgiveness through Jesus Christ. This grace motivates us through love and thankfulness, not guilt, shame, or duty. (Romans 6:14)
