What Confirmation services do you offer?

Confirmation is the process at Red Hill that teaches young people the Bible, the creeds of the church, The 10 Commandments and our church history--all equipping them to live a Christian life. Upon completion of the two-year program, the youth stand before the congregation and make a public profession of their faith and affirm the promises of their baptism.

At Red Hill Lutheran Church, Confirmation is a two-year process for 7th and 8th grade students taught by our Youth and Family Ministry Pastoral Staff. They meet on the church campus from September through May every Wednesday between 5:30-6:30pm.

For more information about our Confirmation program, please contact our Director of Student Ministries at (714) 544-3131 ext.103.

How can I become a member of Red Hill Lutheran Church?

We believe that all Christians need to be a part of a local body of believers. This belief is grounded in scripture, especially in 1 Corinthians 12 where the church is described as the Body of Christ, made up of different individual members working together for the common good. Apart from the body, the individual members can do nothing.

Any professing Christian is welcome to become a member of Red Hill Lutheran Church. Each individual who desires to become a member must attend one of our bi-annual new member classes. These classes cover the basics of Christianity, our Lutheran heritage, and the mission, vision, and values of Red Hill Lutheran Church.

To sign up for this class, call the Church office at (714) 544-3131 ext. 100.
